Registration 2010-2011 School Year
Students entering Katella from Private Schools:
Students may begin enrollment and class registration process in August. You will need the following information to enroll:
- Current gas or electric bill- (Rental or Lease agreement will also work)
- Most recent report card
- Unofficial copy of student transcript (obtain from last school)
- Up to date Immunization record (obtain from current school) - If out of County, TB Test needed
- CA Test Scores (obtain from current school)
- CELDT Scores (if home language is something other than English)
Please contact the registration office with any questions. Please note our Counselors have set aside August 23rd and 24th to see new students to our district. Please have your above items turned in to the office PRIOR to those dates so that an appointment can be made for you.
Students entering Katella under Open Enrollment:
- Student must live in the Anaheim Union H.S. District
- Must be a Priority 1 (already attending Katella )
- Must be a Priority 2 (older sibling currently attending Katella)
The Open Enrollments are being handled at the district office. AUHSD will make decision of enrollment and notify you during the summer months. Please go to the district office to initiate your request.
Students from South or Sycamore (incoming 9th grd): Special Education Students: (From AUHSD Schools):
You will be notified (by letter) which school you are to attend. Please bring your letter to the registration office to complete the registration process. An appointment will be made for you to return at a later date to see a counselor in order to receive a schedule.
New to the area?
Students must have the following:
- Proof of address (gas or electric bill)- (Rental or Lease agreement will also work)

- CELDT Score (if language is other than English)
Special Ed Students Please note, if you are or have ever received Special Education Services, you will need to provide a copy of your current IEP along with the above information.
