2008/2009 Registration Information
Students entering Katella from Private Schools:

Students may begin enrollment and class registration process in August. You will need the following information to enroll:
  • Current gas or electric bill- (Rental or Lease agreement will also work)
  • Most recent report card
  • Unofficial copy of student transcript (obtain from last school)
  • Up to date Immunization record (obtain from current school) - If out of County, TB Test needed
  • CA Test Scores (obtain from current school)
  • CELDT Scores
Please contact the registration office with any questions.

Students entering Katella under Open Enrollment:
  • Student must live in the Anaheim Union H.S. District
  • Must be a Priority 1 (already attending Katella )
  • Must be a Priority 2 (older sibling currently attending Katella)
AUHSD will make decision of enrollment and notify you during the summer months.

Katella High School is currently a closed school. Students enrolling must reside in our attendance area and show proof or be Priority 1 or 2. No Exceptions.

No open enrollment forms will be handed out to closed schools.

Students from South or Sycamore (incoming 9th grd):
  • Students should have pre-registered during March- Course selections only
  • If student had to attend summer school, you must go see your counselor at the Jr. High to obtain proof of promotion after completing required courses in summer school.
  • Bring proof of promotion (by Jr High Counselor) for enrollment
Special Education Students: (From AUHSD Schools):

You will be notified (by letter) which school you are to attend. Please bring your letter to the registration office to complete the registration process. An appointment will be made for you to return at a later date to see a counselor in order to receive a schedule.

New to the area?

Students must have the following:
  • Proof of address (gas or electric bill)- (Rental or Lease agreement will also work)

  • Up to date Immunization Records (outside O.C. more than 1 yr you must have a current TB test and/or X-ray)
  • CELDT Scores
Please note, if you are or have ever received Special Education Services, you will need to provide a copy of your current IEP along with the above information.

Returning Katella Student:
  • You will receive a postcard during the month of July giving you the registration dates.
