HIGH SCHOOL WILL ALWAYS BE THERE TO REMEMBER

There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about something that had happened in High School. Katella was my school and I really did Love it. I couldn't wait to get out like the other kids but I have the best memories along with bad ones too. I had the best and worse of friends and the teachers. I do believe High School helps mold you for the future. The one thing I really learned is that life is no fun without those times. I recently went back to College with 2 young kids of my own at home. I loved it and it was the hardest 2 years of school because of being older, feeling guilty for working and going to school and it recharged my outlook on life.

I remember my swim practices early morning and after in High School. I remember basketball practice and the feeling like I was going to die from the heat. I remember so many things that help me get through my everyday life that I have to say come from my experiences from Katella. I am glad I got involved in school and didn't let some of those individuals who thought they were the best, get the best of me. Tough times at school have been nothing like after. I know my life doesn't compare to others but I know how it affected me. I hope the current class remembers to take part in as much as you can because it really is the best times of your life. You learn so much about things that help create a stronger individual, wiser and determined. I think I knew many kids and teachers there and I was not the most out going person there either. I am not one who would want to go back and relive those times but I am grateful for them. Katella was a great place and time for me. I am grateful for them and hope others can see that too. I know many individuals that have died since or been lost. It is nice to be able to have them in my memories and thoughts when I revisit those years. They will never be forgotten. Especially my sister Michele, those were the good times even though we had our differences then they are nothing like now. Cherish High School!
